Virtual ad - Real candidate - Future president?

Barack Obama has been compaigning for months, visiting every part of the country, broadcasting on radio and TV.

And now, Barack Obama is advertising... in an online racing video game. Players of the game Burnout Paradise, available on Microsoft Xbox 360, can see huge billboard displaying pictures of the Democrat candidate.

A representative of the game's publisher, Electronic Arts, explains: "Like most television, radio and print outlets, we accept advertising from credible political candidates. Like political spots, on the television networks, these ads do not reflect the political policies of EA or the opinions of its development teams".

Obama also appears in eight other games: Madden 09, NBA Live 08, Need for Speed Carbon...

Rumors say that Massive, a Microsoft company, offered Jon McCain to advertise for him, but that he refused. Does he think he cannot turn the gamers' vote into real support?
